God's Love Grows Here!

Worship

Worship
Our service on Sunday mornings runs from 9:30 - 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.  It is a service highlighted by music, prayer, scripture, and a sermon.  The choir or hand bells usually do special music at this service and Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.

Children’s Church
Early in the worship service, children ages K-6 are invited to leave the Sanctuary for Children’s Church.  Parents of fidgety children appreciate the opportunity to worship peacefully while the kids are engaging in their own learning environment.  Parents can retrieve their children at the end of the worship hour.

Holy Communion
The sacrament of Holy Communion is very important to the people of MUMC.  We celebrate Holy Communion (aka: Eucharist, Lord’s Supper) on the first Sunday of each month.  We normally “receive the elements” of bread and juice in one of two ways: 1)  a person comes forward to receive a cube of bread, a small cup of juice and are invited to  kneel at the Communion rail; or 2)  a person receives an individual wrapped piece of bread and individual serving of juice.
